ABC/Image Group LAEric Church may be Mr. Misunderstood, but it seems to be working out for him.
The North Carolina native’s surprise 2015 album, which he unveiled more than two years ago at the CMA Awards, has just been certified platinum, as its fourth single, “Round Here Buzz,” climbs to #1 on the country chart. The project’s second release, “Record Year,” made it to the top as well.
This weekend, Eric’s set to perform at the 60th Grammy Awards, remembering the victims of the shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival last October in a special segment with Maren Morris and Brothers Osborne. The show starts Sunday at 7:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
