Matthew Eisman/WireImageChildish Gambino, aka actor Donald Glover, has signed a new deal with RCA Records.
The “Redbone” artist will release new music via the business partnership.
In a statement, Glover says that the deal “was a necessary change of pace.”
The Atlanta creator and star is nominated for five Grammys, including Album of the Year for his disc Awaken My Love! and Record of the Year.
He’s also set to make his Grammy performance debut this Sunday night.
The Grammys, hosted by James Corden, air live from New York’s Madison Square Garden on January 28 at 7:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
