A New London man is charged with unlawfully shooting a firearm, after he appeared at police headquarters to bail his friend out. Police say 20-year old Aaron Baldwin is accused of shooting the weapon on Eastern Avenue Monday night. Police say they first apprehended 21-year old Jonathan Felix at the scene, as he jumped out of a van and began approaching them with a stun gun type weapon. Police say Baldwin, the alleged shooter, then later showed up at the police station to post bond for Felix, and was also arrested. Both suspects are being held on bond and were to be arraigned today. Police say the van has been seized for evidence.
