Hi and thanks for checking out my page! I'm host of the "Sound Morning Drive" weekday's from 6am to Noon.
I got my start in Connecticut radio working in the news department at sister stations WICH, 97.7 WCTY and WKNL before moving to Classic Hits 98.7 WNLC in 2005.
My wife Donnel and I live in Connecticut's quit corner with our daughter who was born in February and our adopted cat Roger who has lots of land to roam on.
I was an aircraft mechanic in the U.S. Navy (VXE-6) from 1993 to 1997 and spent lots of time in New Zealand, Hawaii, Antarctica and other places around the globe. I love to travel so if you have some cool travel stories email them to me at chris@wnlc.com. I previously worked in the semiconductor industry at Intel before pursuing my love of broadcasting.

Word is, this guy is the real deal although he's struggling a bit on American Idol. His name is Andrew Garcia.....he's singing "Sunday Morning" by Maroon 5. Sounds pretty good to me!

Olathe, Kansas girls basketball coach Joel Branstrom was supposed to be the victim of a prank. He was told he would win tickets to college basketball's Final Four if he could make a half-court shot while blindfolded. The fans were going to cheer when he inevitably missed, making him think he'd won the tickets. Except he actually made the shot. Oops.
