ABC/Randy HolmesVance Joy sits in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 for the first time in his career.
The Australian singer-songwriter’s sophomore album Nation of Two debuts right at number 10 on the chart with sales of 28,000 units, 18,000 of which were traditional album sales.
Nation of Two is the follow-up to Vance’s 2014 debut Dream Your Life Away, which spawned the hit single “Riptide.” That album peaked at number 17 on the Billboard 200.
Not surprisingly, Nation of Two debuted at number one on Australia’s album chart.
Nation of Two features the lead single “Lay It on Me” and Vance’s current track, “Saturday Sun.” He kicks off a North American headlining tour April 13 in Berkeley, California.
